In Between

In this uncertain world,
were time's cruel hand
moves towards troubled reality
and dreams are all I know,
to hold me from losing my mind.
I have peace in knowing you are there
beyond the horizon, thinking of me.
I look to the place where sky meets earth
and in your absence I imagine you there,
looking for me from the other side
and our thoughts will meet
somewhere in between.

If a dream touches us,
it exists to us as anything
else that touches us.
