I wrote this poem in 3 language, English...netherlands and the language of Indonesia.
all contain the same message.

author: a child of Ambon.

Hear my voice

Hear the voice of my heart
when I call out to you
strangers drive my people apart
by violence so hard and cruel
my people always lived in harmony
and now forced to separate
powerless near insanity
help the Moluccan before it will be to late.

Hoor de stem van mijn hart
wanneer ik u aanroep
vreemden drijven mijn volk uiteen
begaan gewelddadigheden zo cru
mijn volk leefde altijd in harmonie
en worden nu gedwongen uiteen te gaan
wij staan machteloos, zijn bijna krankzinnig
Help de Molukken, voordát het te laat is.

Dengar suara dari hatiku
kalau beta memanggil ale
orang luar pecah belah kita
melaksanakan perkosa luar biasa
bangsa kita hidup dalam keselarasan
tindakan kekarasan bagai lain sama jng lain
tidak berdaya, hampir sakit djiwa
sioh tolong Maluku, sebelum terlambat e

Charisma, as I read this poem I think of my own country's (Ireland) turmoiled past,

"strangers drive my people apart
by violence so hard and crue
my people always lived in harmony
and now forced to separate"

it is such a simple question, but one that is hard to answer WHY CAN'T WE ALL LIVE TOGETHER IN PEACE. A powerfully written poem.

"an afixiation a fix on anything the line of life the limb of a tree
the hands of he and the promise that s/he is blessed among women".

Charisma~
You are a compassionate poet.
Prayers are sent from this little corner of the world every day.
Bless you for reaching out with your words to spread the message.
Love n' hugs~

P.S.  I got the most wonderful e-mail inquiry from a gentleman who visited your web page and read my 'Cry Wolf' poem on it ...
Thank you sweet friend for sharing my thoughts with others.

I am in total agree with all above charisma, and unfortunately it seems, as our world continues to turn, the peace your, and similar peoples have known so long, is disappearing through the greed of others. My heart and my prayers to you and yours.

Charisma,

May your voice be heard before it is too late for you people.  Violence never solves anything.  Peace to you.

My friend this is so wonderful and it shows just how compassionate you truely are, but of course we all knew that a long time ago.  Peace in this world would be nice and unfortunately it seems that there will never be an answer that all would accept even though love of man and of God is all the answer that is needed.  Wonderful write my friend and prayers for you and your people for sure.
