As sweet as the mourning frost, Or the kiss of the early due, The touch of a straying sun ray, The sweet musky evening hue . All the things in life that are pretty, The beauty of the birds and trees, The passing of the day time, Of happiness decrees . Even in the darkness night, There is the moon and stars, The light that shines upon us, This Earth I’m proud is ours . As the sun sinks lower, Into the cool blue sea, The moon whose bright arises, To watch over you and me . Only when I see you, Can I see every one of these, The love I feel for you, Like the love of birds for trees . Written by Tom Baker .© Don't try, do or do not, there is no try . - Master Yoda - |

Tom, I love it when nature is used in verse as to me all the world can learn from it's beauty and you have used the visions so well in this little gem. Lovely verse and the love radiates from the page. A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses. author unknown |

Thanks the both of you, your most Kind in your appreciation . I have to say that this is my favorite kind of poem aswell, as it is positive and descriptive, unfortuanatly, it is not very often that I can write this kind of poem as The Raven comparison would usualy completly dominate and make me start to talk about how I'm not good enough, in sted of hinting it only a little . Thanks am lot . L.of.L. Tommy . XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Don't try, do or do not, there is no try . - Master Yoda - |
