With just a few words
You made me believe.
And that might seem absurd
For you could have deceived.
But I chose to trust
All that you had to say
And found that I must
Have your smile in my day.
Dependence on you
Was at odds with my style
But I quickly knew
I'd looked a long while
To find someone so strong,
So loving, so sharing.
It couldn't be wrong
To give you my caring.
Yours from the start
I'll love you forever.
Take care of my heart
For my lifetime endeavor
Will be to see joy
Shine from your face
All my talents employ
To make sure that the place
You want to be
Is close to my side.
Through eternity
This love will abide!

It's cold outside, think I'll leave it there,
It's warm inside, I like it here,
Ate a biscuit, coffee's perking,
Suthern dear, are you here lurking?

Ah, suthern, all of that misguided love!! Breaks my heart, it does! But then I guess everyone needs somebody to love them...even Toerags. Thank God he's got you!!

jellybeans: But your visits are worth waiting for! *S* Thank you... though someone who writes free verse as well as you do has no one to envy! *S*

ethome: Thank you very much. *S*

Balladeer: 'tain't misguided... *G*... just unwanted! LOL. And I know the high esteem you have for that man... so you really should be giving him your sympathy for having to put up with me instead of thanking God he keeps me out of YOUR hair! LOL.
