Autumn Serenade Virginia Salter drip, drip, drip sparkle, sparkle drizzle, drizzle, stream living through the autumn showers empowers awesome dream drinking in the daylight dancing neath the clouds whisked away by reverie above the clamoring crowds soaring with the sea gull upon its gray-tipped wings gives my heart a merry tune and golden voice to sing pirouettes ‘bove tree tops orbs so bright a-gleam joy-filled sinew dancing upon a faint sunbeam light of heart, wisp of soul song of nature’s throng fills me so with singing keeps me living strong pip, pip, pip trickle, trickle ripple, ripple, roll © October 11, 2000 |
