"Merry Christmas Mom"

standing at the wall where you lay
memories of this last year flood my head
as I wonder did you see it all
if you were here what would you say?

your family has changed a million times
but this year has brought us all together
peace has finally found our hearts
hoping that it lasts forever

we learned from the best
you left us with some of the finest gifts
the heart you gave to this family
has helped to lay you to rest

I miss you so much my Angel
the loving grace you possessed
but then I smile
knowing how lucky we are and blessed

merry Christmas mom
I know your up in heaven high
and that your halo and wings of golden
help to assist you when you fly

I had a dream last night
that you came back
thats all i'd want for Christmas
not whatever Santa has in his sack

But I know that simply can't be
So with the same loving grace you taught me
I simply will say Merry Christmas Mom
as I finally set you free

as we decorate the tree
I'll be thinking of you
knowing you're watching down upon us
and that miracles really do come true

I love you mom!

Amy love, your mam is smiling at this wonderful beautiful message to her. This is full of your loving heart and yes she's seen and heard it all. Her wings shelter you when you need shelter and her arms hold you when you really need comfort. Wonderful amazing writing from you. Really well done, and you just know that she's sitting on her cloud, (Doing cloud duty don't you know) and telling all the other angels that her daughters are the best daughters on earth.
Take care love

Aims, this is so beautiful.  Your mom is definitely looking down and loving this poem, just as much as I am!!  Excellent work, my dear friend!!  Did I mention that I love this??

Oh, this poem struck me to the depths of my heart!  Beautifully written, so sad, so poignant and haunting.  Well done, my friend, and I'm so very sorry for your loss, but so  glad for your faith!

Don't forget sweetheart, your mum is being teased by my daughter or is that your mum is teasing my daughter?...I hope they're both  smiling anyway...

Beautiful poem...
