Among The Daffodils Of You
~*Marge Tindal*~

Tell me where your meadow starts
so I may come to play
among the daffodils of you
set in soft array

Take me to the edge of time
in open space of you
cavorting in the grasses greened
by warmth of sunshine's hue

Play me with enchanting notes
of flutes upon the hill
dancing 'cross the meadow of
your graceful daffodils

Among the daffodils of you
set in soft array
tell me where your meadow starts
so I may come to play

Where does my meadow start? Oh, Marge!!
My meadow here is very large!
Get off the beaten path until
Your eyes see miles of daffodils

It's plantin' time and there are rumors
You're gonna LOVE to see my bloomers
So come down, Marge. I'll do you proud
Come see my fields and let's get plowed!!

Wow. That was pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. You conveyed so much meaning with so few words. Great work, Marge!

Marsha~
Thank you for traipsing through my daffodils.

Kit~
It's just a daffodil day !
Thank you, my friend.

Balladeer~
You certainly tickle my fancy -
and a few other places I can't mention
but if getting me to view your bloomers
is your sole intention ...
I'M ON !

Rumor has it
I've already seen 'em ...
so let's not procrastinate.
get those bloomers on (or off)
I'll arrive at half past eight ...
You supply the plow ..
I promise not to be late !

PearlsOfWisdom~
Well, thank you.
So nice to know you enjoyed.

Marge, this is lovely, you knew I'd come in to be swept away...and enjoyed the sweep very much!  Well done my friend...

Well you know where my meadow starts the real question is how the heck do you get out once you are in.

This was a wonderful little verse from you my sweet friend and in case you forgot, my meadow lies in the middle of the range just beyond the row of cactus that surround my heart.

A life with love will have some thorns, but a life without love will have no roses.

A wonderful presentation,
Truly enjoyable and resonates the memories,
of a time when my window looked over such a place,
they were daylilies of orange left by a previous gardener.
