The Voices Of My Heart I'll not listen to those voices in my head I'll listen to the ones in my heart instead My head it tells me not to be such a fool But my heart obeys when it hears your call My head says that I'm heading right for pain But my heart wants to hear love once again If only my head will listen to your voice It would follow my heart it has no choice I've been cautious before and taken heed Listened to head and denied hearts need But I'm tired of being sensible I want this My heart needs so much to feel loves kiss My heart won't stop until she has her way Love isn't something you choose to do It's there or it's not, that's love for you Those voices in my head can run and run My heart is so desparate she needs her fun Sensible is so boring always heeding head But heart needs love just this once instead After this time I'll follow head I really will Now this one time I have a dream to fulfill I need to let my heart give herself to you For this time I think heads wants love too Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |
