For a Change "you've changed" and it's true ~ commonplace and in one place I don't think I'll ever find peace of mind so I change, don't you? Here in this land change is the norm "don't like the weather? wait till morn…" and it changes "I'm the same" and the grumbling begins and I think "no, you're not at all like him" the him that was when we were new and taking on challenges for two now we look around it's happening separate rooms and the fault is mine, you see "come and do what I do" is the cry I hear politics, war and sorrow are all that greet me on the morrow "you hide your head in the sand" at least I know where then I stand but do I really, when I read all of the changing poetry from lives that aren't in media spin through footsteps holding another's skin for there are far too many here that share their loves… and their fears… and change is constant in the blue so I come, and read of you and change is good for I would read how you align your words so that above the clamor you are heard and I would rearrange and perhaps sound strange but in this range we exchange something, but not the same change I embrace it and hold it to light for stagnant waters hold poisonous brew and I would have clear and sparkling fountains of youth to ever give to you change so quietly I fight the war of what I come in here for and words are the very key that lets me in where everything is new and the cycle is "Spin" for when the word has been spun then you know the change has begun [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 12-09-2000).] |

I like the directions your poems are taking you...you seem to stretch and grow with each one. It's like watching a butterfly spread her wings. Wonderful poem!!! |

Kari, you're always saying that I should give you my honest opinion, well here it is. This is positively the best, the cream, the ultimate. This is soooooo wonderful, just like you love, it truly is. My totally honest opinion is that you have transcended onto a new higher level, a plane that I can see quite clearly. This is utterly WOW, I'm not only gobsmacked I'm heartstruck to. (Is that honest enough for you love, or should I get my little flag out and wave it about a bit. ) Oh and I Love It Take care Flag waving Majestic Mushy Marsha Take back the hope you gave,- I claim Only a memory of the same Robert Browning |

Change can bring excitement and adventure into our lives. It is how we embrace and handle the changes that is the challenge. This was a wonderful, thought, provoking read and I loved it. Much love to you from me Love I leave with you my friend whether it be in your life or of yet the essense of your dreams. http://path2riches.com |

The ONLY thing that remains the same is change. Live for love. Without love, you don't live. |

Isn't it funny how change perpetuates change..especially in relationships? One changes....which changes the relationship...which forces the other person to change to accept it or change to leave it. I guess the only solution is that, when one does change, it is always for the better.. Sunshine your poem is truly masterful and provokes one into deep thought. I agree with MArsha...you are indeed transcending |
