Broken Winged Angel
~*Marge Tindal~*

I'm just a broken winged angel,
trying so hard to forget.
Grounded and no longer flying,
cause I'm not over you yet.

I was flying high when I met you.
You billowed my wings with your song.
But, I didn't know you maintained two cages
and now you have left me alone.

Why is it when halos get tarnished,
sometimes they slip and they fall ?
Now to this broken winged angel,
yours has no shine left at all.

This heartbreaking tale isn't over,
but I'm writing a brand new ending.
Though your halo won't regain it's luster,
my wings will someday be mending.

I'll be flying high ~~
and it won't be solo ~~~

Imagine that Jesse...it gave me goosebumps when I read it
and I wondered if she wrote it for you.

Marge, this is so sad, yet it sends a wonderful message.
One will never forget, but will someday move on...

Perfect imagery Marge ... you've set the scene beautifully here to bring wonderfully vivid pictures to mind. I can see her soaring now ... just a little bandaid was all she needed, and these sweet words of inspiration from you!
