the warmth of the night consumes me with tender thoughts of you your whispers in the moonlight within the shadows..ebony blue the stars creep lazily across the sky in the heavens where you were born thoughts of you reflect in my eyes our love i shall never mourn fragrant blossoms..sweet gardenia intoxicates spirits of the night kisses softly alabaster skin the breath of blossoms creamy white the warmth of the night consumes me in my garden of hopeful dreams planting deeply seeds of memories nourished by blossoms of moonbeams < !signature--> A poem is never finished, only abandoned. - Paul Valery (1871-1945) [This message has been edited by Victoria (edited 12-06-2000).] |

Very soft and warm, flows nicely. Enjoyed it. With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |

This filled my senses with a sweet aroma... What is that you express in your eyes? It seems to me more than all the words I have read in my life. Walt Whitman |

Wonderful fragrances come to mind. Nice job. LW Poetry should surprise by fine excess...it should strike the reader as a wording of his own highest thoughts and appear almost a remembrance. -J.Keats |
