I woke up not myself tonight
The same familiar blur
Stared out into the lack of light
Remembering who we were
For now my life does not seem right
And I cannot endure
This same repeating awful sight
Of which you hold the cure

No comfort from the friends so few
Who do not understand
They question the things that I do
When I speak of your hand
And how I would hold it so true
Embrace it with a band
To prove my ever love for you
My hearts only demand

Love I beg you please be strong
For weakness knows my name
I’ve waited oh so very long
To find our hearts the same
No longer I know right and wrong
Or the rules to this game
I only know that I belong
Inside your picture frame

So kiss me love while I’m awake
Let lips and worlds collide
In this moment let me take
You on our lovers ride
For you my heart will always ache
I long deep down inside
For bonds of secrecy to break
And fears to now subside
