Who sings so sweetly tonight, That makes me pause my dreaming, Who sings to glowing moonlight, A crescent barely beaming, Who sings so softly and low, That words are just a murmur Left just outside my window So I go open my door To hear the wandering song, But the singers went away, Not staying one place too long, Nighttime song to make the day They Carol sweetly tonight, and makes me pause from dreaming. This is replete with gentle imagery - and it all combines to create a poem which itself gently glows... 'Who sings so softly and low, That words are just a murmur Left just outside my window' Excellent write, Gloom... K |

through the gloom the light dawns in Caroler's song... lovely... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |
