What is Your Wish Time the guide stays by our side But never says how long the ride. We stay a puppet of extreme In three Dimension plus a dream. We brook two paths, gentle and hard And the oven cooks with some lard. Tasting, wishing, dancing with wile Straining our hearts with tears or smile. We bury our treasures of awe Though know, we cannot treasures store. Yet we claw mountains to the top Seems for some sort of lollypop. Goals that we set, course straight ahead All must be done before we are dead. Strings are pulled we dance in the snow To our own music fast, or slow. Some would cut the strings of the spell Except for fear they'd go to hell. |

quote: That reminded me of the "miles to go before I sleep" in Robert Frost's poem. I liked this poem a lot, Seymour. Elizabeth Something sweet, something sort of grandish, sweeps my soul when thou art near... [email protected] |

Where did this poem come from? WE cannot plan for what we don't know. But the Brazilians have a saying that goes something like this I'll take pleasure today, because tomorrow I might be dead. They don't say anything about goals. Totally irrelevant to the beauty of your words, and everything you write is beautiful Liz |

Sy, A fascinating introspective piece. I liked it and I'm not even an Elizabeth. |

Sy, You've got TWO Elizabeths to deal with here. WE're ganging up on you. The first post was my friend, Elizabeth, the second one was me. Or vice versa Wait, I'm getting confused Liz |
