it started with a prayer a whisper to the moonlight and then without conscious thought, the shadow you cast, fills my sight, shades of gray running like fingers across my thigh, I'd try to hide, turn away, but your shadow grows.......... becomes the obsession I am terrified of, knowing you will be there overshadows my life scaring me to death your whispers in the darkness your caresses, leave cold scars on my hip and yet.......... I seek your touch, as I have sought you, through winters frosted scent, through days and nights bent, with unrest, unease the breeze I feel, are you real? or merely another dreamscape, to walk on lonely afternoons, and soon.......... its over reduced to tears am I the walks are done the dreamscape fades and all I have are memories and whispers in moonlight "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

Oh my.....there's not much more that I could add to the masters above me, except that this is a very powerfully written work. I always enjoy each piece you do, but this one has a special pull!! Today is a gift.... That is why they call it 'the Present'! |

Kethry Terrific imagery - and your emotions are laid right out where we can feel them, too. Wonderful free verse. I hope it really is all behind you now. |

~Kethry,...I love the honest and open flow this has to it....it's like your words are flying free from you...coming as they do to your mind,...I love that. A rawness to it that captivates my attention. Superb expression. Take care of yourself K. *Peace. |

You've read me - exuding my confidence - and professing my love and romantic feelings - Perhaps others doing similar - Speaking for myself - you should know the selfsame doubts and anguish can haunt me as well - and I strongly suspect others as well - perhaps even the object of my affection - BUT you've put it into words - and most beautifully. |

Fool Kethry turns a whiter shade of pale and looks just ghostly in the moonlight, now who's haunting who. Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |

I saw this quote the other day, Kethry and saved it wanting to use it's idea and your poem made me think to share it with you. "I wasn't kissing him, I was whispering in his mouth." It was the Whispers of his touch... ~Wynter Bliss "The worst prison would be a closed heart". ...Pope John Paul II |

Thanks everyone, this is one of my favourites. I think because my muse and I collaborated closely on this one. Either that or my split personality has got loose again.
