The White Glove

Cannot you see it? That perfect, stark white glove
for opera,
she is pulling it on just now, slowly,
with intent, onto her left hand.

Her right hand’s fingers caress lightly her left wrist,
slightly tugging, gently easing the
glove up her silken arm,

then smoothing the gossamer-like cotton of the glove,
with her right hand, oblivious, ‘tho it is gloveless.

And the art of her is just like a portrait unfinished

Kari, this is as always exquisite, such amazing writing from you. You are far too good at this you really are. So psst missus, can I offer you some barely used superbs, and a couple of bravos.   Love this Kari as you knew I would.
Take care

This is VERY intruiging!  I really like it!

May I tell you something personal?
For a reason unknown to either my husband or me, we have both been cut off at the same time, from posting any new poetry at Passions.  But for some reason, we are allowed to continue contributing comments.
So I must say, if we are cast out, good-bye, my friend!  We care about you.

Rosemary, the software doesn't have the capability to allow replies while disallowing new topics. Nor do we "cast out" Members without explaination. If you are experiencing problems posting, I assure you they have absolutely nothing to do with us.
