Listening to every heart

0 posted 2000-11-16 10:21 AM

in winter’s chill days
with ice and snow causing glaze
love me through these days

under gray of sky
when sun disappears from sky
love me through these days

till spring softens new
passion’s love between us two
love me till that day

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

The first home run in verse I ever saw ... made out of a triple.

All hail Her Majesty, Queen of Haiku, Sunshine!

Sunshine...

this poem is just that, a ray of sunshine on a winter's day...that's what it would be if it were winter, officially.  Here it is quite frosted with most trees bared and chimneys smoking their habits vehemently.

I enjoyed the return to a theme of the final line of each stanza, giving a wonderful tie to them.  Vivid results in your word weaving.

Very nice.
I like how instead of stopping with one haiku, you wrote three, inter-connecting and expanding the feelings.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
