If I could only write a poem, That would convey the feelings of my heart, Then maybe you would know how this message needs to start, If I could only touch your face, Make you realize my dream, Is only of you to be near, It's only you my darling I want to kiss, Search your mind, make you mine Feel our heart beats entertwined, If I could only say the words that so often come out wrong, Then maybe you would know it's only you my darling I've loved all along. Look deep within my eyes and see All the love I hold for thee, Look straight into my heart, and see the cherished place for thee, If only I could tell you in the words That fall apart, but maybe I could tell you In just the simpliest way, By holding you near, kissing your lips, and saying I love you even more, Than yesterday and the day before, Each day I'll promise to love you even more. I know sometimes our life gets hectic caught up in a whirlwind, Distance comes between, Always remember dear your always in my heart and as I hold you near each night your also in my dreams Of yesterday, today and Forever. |

thanks Sunshine, sometimes it's not always easy to show someone how you feel , That's what I love about poetry it tends to open up the heart. |

Thanks Lonewolf, Daniel and JM, Sometimes words seem to not come so easily especially with someone you hold so dear to your heart, I guess that's why sometimes because there's so many feeling tied together, it's hard to express at times. Thanks JM, sometimes I don't feel like I express myself enough. |
