Listening to every heart

Sirocco sighs

coming, coming ‘cross the sand
hot and dry, unspoken command
of the winds
the winds that blow
like hot sighs, the Sirocco shows
strength

nothing soft, this
siroccan wind
lifting high all earthly sins
scattering memories ‘cross the land
in hot, dry, unspoken command
cleansing

neither man nor beast
will travel far
as first the winds begin at par
and strength upon strength
with wave bringing blow
under sun’s glow

and soon, soon
in heavy handed sirocco sighs
comes the rain pelting from skies
torrents of water
in nacreous disguise
drenching

sirocco winds sigh away
sun breaks through to see
rainbows wash skies clean
of siroccan memories

Kari, this is truly awesome, there's me being frivilous and you being amazing. Love this one I truly do. Sirroco sighs, wonderful, utterly breathtaking.
Take care

the ending where the rain comes and washes
away the hot dry winds. perhaps a rain
will come for me? eh...take care.

WHOA!  Magnificent! Not only that, but good, too.
Made me run to the ole Webster's ... "pearly iridescent substance."
I love it!
More, MORE!

Very intense in its condense
With just a touch of frankincense.
