Someone

Someone has taken the sun out of my sky
Someone has put these tears in my eye
Someone has made my soul heave a sigh
Someone has caused my heart to cry

Someone has taken away your tender touch
Someone has caused me to miss you so much
Someone has taken your spirit to which I clutch
Someone has taken away my emotional crutch

That someone is my hearts sole desire
That someone takes me into loves fire
That someone lifts me ever higher
That someone is my beloved sire

That someone speaks to me tonight
That someone bathes me in delight
That someone gives me back my sight
That someone calls me into the night

Only You

Only you are the sun in my sky
Only you can make my soul sigh
Only you have that magic touch
Only you who I need this much
Only you make this fires' flame
Only you who can say my name
Only you can bring me release
Only you give me surcease
Only you will be eternally true
I want and I need only you

Marsha~ (standing up and applauding wildly) BRAVO!!! I LOVE THIS!! This is now my favorite of yours! You peeked in and read my heart and wrote of my love for my hubby! Well, maybe not, but after reading this, it sure felt like it!   -SEA

Marsha....see?  I always said "Majestic..." and rightly so!

Circe, I'm glad it reflects your love, it is certainly a reflection of mine, isn't love wonderful. I know I'm getting mushy again, well I can't be hung for it, right! I'm pleased you like it, it came to me on the way to work today. (No wonder I'm a lousy driver, I don't concentrate enough!)
Take care

Interloper, thank you, and I'm sure that your words will be immensely superior. I shall look forward to reading it.

Kari, oh love, Majestic, I can't see that crown fitting me, unless it's one of those diamante tiara things. (Cheap and just a little flashy, is more my style love) No for the real class I look to you.

BDC Yes that describes my love, he's as dreamy as can be. Thank you I do appreciate you dropping by

Amy, Oh love, you are by far too sweet, I told you I have no faith in my work at all. It is just an excuse for me to hang around with the talented poets that live and bring beauty to life here.
Take care of yourself, and you know where I am if you need me

Daniel J D, I'm really pleased you liked this, and I'm pleased that the feelings came out. I try which is all I can do, except that I'm always left with the feeling that I could have done better. (Well maybe I could, and maybe I will!) Thank you anyway

JM, I'm so sorry that you are feeling the pain of separation, it's such a hard thing to bear. I can only say that we are here for you, and poetry does always ease the pain. Your work is amazing always, and lately it has been stunning. I admire that you can write so magnificently when you are in such agony.
Take care
