I heard your voice last night it followed me for hours churning and burning in my mind played over in my sleep as restless dreams did I scare you? echoing over and over listless and weak haunting and crippled in it's own fear yet how can I tell you no? what can I say or do to make you understand? actions speak louder than words yet the heart overrides all emotions planets turn, stars collide, time goes on did I scare you? darkness covers life and casts a shadow over joy fear invades ones hopes and assalts the mind the world we live in spins out of control too many thoughts without any outlet fingers searching for a hold thoughts and ideas recklessly smashing into skin angrily repeating their wild assault did I scare you? your body and mine lost in their own agenda entwined in a furry of desperation minds connecting as though welded together no release or accepting embrace just two people lost in a sea of dreams... did I scare you? |

Desperado~ This is an extremely expressive piece of writing. 'actions speak louder than words yet the heart overrides all emotions planets turn, stars collide, time goes on' Well done, Des~ Be well and safe and know that we enjoy seeing you. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

At first impression, I wasn't sure what I was reading, then as the poem drew me deeper in, it reminded me of once upon a time, when I fell in love and was scared half out of my mind. And this poem did those feelings, that I couldn't understand then, justice. For through your words, I found that understanding. With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free.. dragonpoe |

I think this just may be my favorite piece of yours so far. Wow. Talk about some deep soul going on in there. What is it with you and poetry, always elicting a response from me. It comes out of no where, it really does. If I could open your skin and hide inside of you I would. If merging my mind and my body to you is the only way to know safety... then I will. I want to be there where you are so close that words don't matter and the beating of my heart beside yours will tell you everything I'm afraid to say. Yes, I'm scared. I've always been scared. I rage against fear with every touch I give and recieve. Pleasure seems to matter so little on the cosmic scale of you and I. "How can I tell you no?" I want to know that you are inside of me always as I sleep in a make believe bed. Dreaming of you there even when you're not. "your body and mine lost in their own agenda entwined in a furry of desperation minds connecting as though welded together no release or accepting embrace just two people lost in a sea of dreams..." Thats right baby. I'm always scared. Whoa. There you go...hope this speaks to you as yours did to me. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." |

Wonderful poem, and a wonderful response. I can feel the emotions flowing here. Good job. "In sleep he sang to me...in dreams he came...that voice which calls to me, and speaks my name..." |
