Dicing For Love

or

(The Love Game)

My love you entice me, call me into this game
Where my heart won't ever be quite the same
You lure me into this enchanted magic dream
Where things just aren't all that they seem
Your eyes they promise me so very, very much
Making me yearn, beg for your tender touch

You beckon me in with your temptations' spice
Calling me to play this game with lovers' dice
This gambling with my soul and now my heart
Risking so much waiting for this love to start
Playing for loves own truth and hearts desire
Dicing with danger as I step right into the fire

The stakes for this very risky game of chance
My hearts' wish for us to share this one dance
The bet is that we should quicken this pace
That passion will show to us her smiling face
The stakes are paid in heated lips of fire
Which takes this game into loves hot desire

Teasing kisses leading to much higher stakes
I've no intention of slamming on these brakes
You collect your winnings with an eager greed
Which builds this game with devilish speed
Dicing for love is sometimes a very tricky game
Even if you don't lose you still burn in flame

Circe, thank you love, I'm glad you liked it. I'm not even sure where this one came from, unless it was the fact that today is the day we have to pay our subscripions for our lottery syndicate. Not that we've ever won anything, but we keep hoping.   And that if you don't play you definitely won't win.
Take care

Circe, thanks kid, and I know just what I'd do with it.

If we the MBOOPAS ever win the prize
After picking up the check of a decent size
We are coming over en mass to see you
We all have an agreement, oh yes we do
That if we win we will jump on a plane
I know it sounds just a little insane
We've said we will take the OSCAR's too
So you can see that they belong in the zoo
I know that's pretty wicked of us
At least we won't expect them to take the bus
So if we ever win the prize we seek
At America's far shores we will take a peek

Take care

Ethome, I'm glad you liked this one, and I thank you. Your own work is absolutely superb and it's getting better. I'm glad you like the title, I never give any of my poems a title till I post them, so whatever they get called is pure chance. (No pun intended there, sorry)
Take care
