Good Day it was a good day today little things were accomplished nothing spectacular some winsome thoughts were thought some little dreams were dreamed and daydreams began with a spark of light oh so bright saw the red-tailed hawk flying alongside on its own ride as the ground to the right of the road dipped low the hawk still flew high in his ownership of sky and what encompasses a good day a winsome delight celebration of life on a Sunday day and a Sunday night to have the ability to do what one needs to answer one's own question to take up one's own heed and to be able to spend some time on poetic read it was a good day, today I saw your name on the hie it was a good day, today 'cause God let me live a good sigh it was a good day in the by and bye… Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, then speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

Karilea, you have touched on truths here. There are so many things that happen and we don't even take the time to notice. Seeing the small things, recognizing the beauty and importance of all that happens around us, counting our blessings....this is what makes for a good day. It is also a good day whenever there is Sunshine  |

Kari, this is amazing, a truth that shines with pure clarity. Love this one Kari, I do and my favourite lines are to have the ability to do what one needs to answers one's own question to take up one's own heed and to be able to spend some time on poetic read. This is so wonderful Kari, you know I so rarely choose lines from any poems because I think they are so totally whole. These lines however jumped out at me, (almost grabbed me by the throat in fact.)
