"Pain Released" All she's ever known has been a lie Tears of pain she cries late at night Her confidence stripped She doubts she can still fight Years of shame and tears Take a toll on the soul She's tired of bits and pieces Wanting once to just feel whole Tears I cried just as she Not for lies told, but from saying good-bye Looking up at skies of blue I let out a weary sigh Hearts entwined Souls from pain released The lies and the goodbyes Shall forever cease Two hearts become one The magic of love breaks the dark of night As the strength of their love Casts a forever glowing light Chains no longer hold them Thier love has made them free And in their hearts they simply know Some things are meant to be |

Amy-girl...you wove my heart tonight...this is so beautiful..to find the one that can release the chains and let the sunshine pour into your soul...there is no greater gift than that...it took me sooooo long to let someone do that for me. But now that I have, I truly wish I had let it happen long ago, being burried under pain is no way to live a life. The last verse said it all sweetie...and says so much about your heart. This is beautiful..as are you my friend~ |

Amy, this is wonderful love, truly a beautifully written poem of love and it's power to heal even the most damaged of souls. (Providing they are willing to let love in) I really love this one truly I do.
