Manipulations of Fire

In a far away land
that Sorcerers command
high towers penetrating Heaven stand
wherein incessant studies to learn
nomenclatures of their disipline
make thoughts cycle like hourglassed sand.

By the knowledge they aquire
they to new windows retire,
all from broader manipulations of Fire,
the sowage for their own Fate
gives results proportionate
to the will of their hearts to progress higher.

Each Sorcerer is a Minister
who becomes a Sceptre-bearer
once she/he masters a specific fire-sphere.
Atop their Sceptres are
affixed a gaud-star
professing the breadth of their power.

Sven--I was kinda trying to reflect what we are like. Fire, as knowledge and meaning and reason. In this day of age we less and less acknowledge how truley amazing it is just to simply be humans and weild "Fire" the way we do. Thankyou for stopping by to read.

I'm so glad you explained this one because I was going down another road with this intelligent piece of poetic work...now it really makes sense to me and I'm going to read it one more time...good stuff for sure!!
