i remember i saw  you
in the Pepsi aisle every Tuesday
stacking the shelfs
i wish every Pepsi man
looked like you..mmmm

right on scedule..nine thirty a.m.

i couldnt wait to
get to the grocery store
my heart pounded..knowing
how disappointed i would be
if i didnt see you..

How i loved Pepsi
or was it you i loved to watch?
i remember bending  next to you
picking up a six pack..
i thought maybe my perfume
would of attracted you..
but you didnt look up.
i knew you were younger
alot younger
tall and as skinny
as a marathon runner

at first you didnt notice me
you always had your head down
and never looked my way
paying attention to your job
About the third time i saw you..
i walked by thinking how good looking
you were
you looked like Bob Goen
on Entertainment tonight
then one Tuesday
you stood talking to someone
as i pushed my cart by
pretending i didnt notice you

i could tell you had
no idea you were movie star material

i watched you
as you listened to the man you were talking to
then your ocean eyes glanced my way
and you nodded and smiled..
i couldnt believe it
you finally caught me looking at you..

i gave you a smile like you had
never had before
one that you would remember
until you saw me again

Every Tuesday your eyes seduced me

they said "sleep with me"
and mine said "yes take me now"

i was drawn to you like a  magnet
Did you want me to make the first move?
What if i did?
I will always wonder..What if??..

I think everyone experiences something like this once in their lifetime.
That fire that can never be kindled.
This was a joy to read.
