A word of explaination, when I say revenge is sweet, it does depend on what the motive for revenge is. This is for my sisters, of whom those who know me, know I have a whole tribe of. One of them Francessca bet me a little while ago that I couldn't write a poem and metion all of us. I did two, the first wasn't very complimentary, and so I had to as penace write a second. This is revenge for the penance, and if you're reading this Marcella GET BACK TO WORK!

The Secret

I've told you all about my many sisters, and that they're a wicked lot
All about the things we did together, and what mischief we would plot
I've described the trouble we all got into whenever we were alone
About the time that Penelope put something very sticky on the phone
How Patricia, not to be outdone by a mere sister devised her own prank
She went down to the boating lake and all the little boys' ships she sank
When asked why she did it, she replied in tones of delighted wicked glee
Well why do you think I did it, I'll tell why, I did it because I'm me

Francessca that sister who's two years younger than I am, the little sprite
She can be quite a devil, but thank goodness she rarely acts out of spite
Now Marcella, can be difficult and there's absolutely no doubt about that
But it wasn't me who tipped her dinner up over her that was certainly Pat
Not that anyone believed that it wasn't I who should as usual take the blame
Because wherever there was trouble or chaos, I'd be there in mischief lane
i don't know why it so often happened but it always worked out that way
That trouble held my hand and summoned me regardless of what I'd say

But the tale I'm going to tell you has never ever been told before this night
The secret I'm going to tell you all is out, it's about time it saw the light
We all were on a night out, something that doesn't happen often at all
Patricia and Penelope, were supporting each other, Pat looked a bit of a fool
Marcella, Francessca and Melissa, were very happy, they'd all had too much
As for me I was as sober as the proverbial judge, for alcohol I'd not touch
This evening I was the designated driver for this night of wines and chat
My sisters were very jolly with the wine, and all smiling like a Cheshire cat

Since I was the only one not three sheets to the wind, or as drunk as can be
The only one who really knows what happend is by coincidence little me
The truth is that Penelope being very much the worse for wear at that time
Doesn't remember anything, so believes that she really did overstep the line
Patricia who then was not able to stand up as straight as she normally would
Doesn't have a clear memory of that night and wouldn't want it if she could
Francessca, Marcella and Melissa totally agree that their souls they owe to me
So what's the secret that they make me keep, just what is this incredible mystery

The truth is NOTHING happened, nobody did anything even remotely bad
They were very tipsy true, but I can't bear to tell them that by me they've been had
I told them they got up to all sorts of trouble, that they nearly went to jail
I know I'm wicked but I couldn't resist telling them all they only just made bail
I've convinced them they really did some really strange and rather dreadful tricks
And they topped it all off with a group streak in the park and I've got the pics
They all believe my invented tales of their lapes and how I saved them from crime
We're off out together next month and I wonder if I can get away with it this time.

It'll never happen a second time, Marsha, now that the truth is out...and I'll keep this up at the top until they see it!

Too Cute!

Kari, true, it's true. but there's no fun in winning too easily, is there. After all if they find out I'll soon know, and you know how I am for touching the flame.
Take care

How funny!!! Do you have pet names for each other? Really disgusting embarrassing ones? It would be fun to read about those in a poem. You're lucky you're so close to your sisters, I am not and wish for the comradarie you share.

Circe, take mine love, take mine, PLEASE. Yes it is fun to tease each other, and we all do tease each other unmercifully. The thing is we are all so alike, not to look at, all of them are blondes. (Now where did I come from?) But we all have a wicked sense of humour, and we are all noisy as hell.
Thanks love glad you like this, and I've not had a phone call yet, so I've not been rumbled just yet.

Sharon, we do indeed and mine is Chaos, I can't imagine why. (I do really!) Marcella is known to all as Marce the Grass, and Francessca, is Dippy. Penelope is the Poison Dwarf, Patricia is Practically Perfect, because she isn't, and Melissa is Smelly Melly.
Yes you are right though blood family is very important to us, and we do all love each other.
Take care

I know I shouldn't bump this back to the front page but I did say it's not much fun to win too easily!   Besides, they deserve it.

Ethome, thank you love, that's a lovely thing to say, it truly is. Yes I am by far normally the softest sister of the lot, they normally all win any games we play by miles. Normally because I'm too easily conned. It happens all the time, and even though I know that they will turn me over again, I keep falling for it.

This time however I've won Yeeesssssssss!

Marsha 5 Sisters 1

This can now disappear into a black hole never to be heard of again.
Oh it's so good to win just for once.

Marsha--
This was hillarious! You know that I
KNOW what you mean here. Very funny,
just hope they don't beat ya too bad
for it. LOL Oh and high five on winning
the bet. I'd say you did, and did it
with your usual style. Loved this, I did.
Take care.
