a step ahead in front is a wall a step backward there lay a ravine can't go sideways there's no way out and there are no shortcuts no shortcuts for you no shortcuts for me decide, take a step or be left there in a standstill, immobile like a decaying rock Ah! What a shock! to go left or go right one has to act fast to get out this maze one has to react fast but he who laughs most is the one whose laugh lasts do I eat now or later do I fall in love or not do I or don't think, make a decision or be aloof from the crowd, hopeless - like an unread book (and now, please) don't give me that look! ... (I am only trying my best to think) |

I felt this poem....decisions can always be that way. Win loose or draw. Very nice my friend. PLY |

Hey Sudhir...just as clever as ever I see... you got the old mind in quite a debate there as your dropping wonderful metaphors on to the Passions page....can't get out of this one though you're going to have to make a decision......great stuff my friend!! |

Ah, good! You will NEVER be an unread book! So glad to see you back in the blue pages...{~,^} Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?... I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound. KRJ |

PLY, Thanks a lot for dropping by to read this... Tracie, I am so glad that this put a smile on your face... Thanks... ethome, my sincere friend, Thanks so much for your effusive replies as ever... This old head is thinking a lot these days... Karilea, if it weren't for your writing, this would never have been written... Thanks for everything... Regards to all, Sudhir |
