the cd she plays when she finds someone for the night;
imbued wine-wet smoke. dark light.
damp sheets like eyes-open dreams.
the sweat of him; her in the seams.
tracing her finger across coaster face.
now to sleep in tree-shadow lace.

"to sleep in tree shadow lace" is a really interesting line....I'm not familiar with the CD but it sounds like it was designed for this very topic...I like the way you presented this ....very well done!!

This is very powerful; how sad and lonely....great job on the CD; I'm glad I don't have anything like that in my collection anymore.
