walking through the garden
I have come upon a hidden corner
once quietly set apart
in now blooms with colors of every hue

reds
     whites
            yellows
                    pinks
everywhere

here she sits
weaving and growing tales of love
the birds sing songs of her heart
she turns their songs into words
and we are the ones
who get to finally hear what
they've been saying

this is her home, her life
her garden growing with love
and with a new heart
the wind speaks to her
and she listens
again

What can I say?  Thank you!  Sven, this is such an honor, I really appreciate it. You know, Passions has given me so much, there's no way I could ever express it, but well, I'll simply keep trying.  Thank you again for a wonderful post and I'm very happy to be included in such a fine family of poets and dear friends!

Sven, a bouquet of loveliness from your pen to my heart. As for the rose could you have done better than to set her in a garden. I don't think so.

Sven~
This is such an accurate portrait of
our dear Kathleen.
You've certainly done the gallery proud,
as she has done with the bouquet from her garden.

Thank you again, Sven and everyone who replied with such kind words.  It means so much to me to know that others read my words
and find some happiness and comfort.  I'm humbled and honored to be thought of in this way. God bless you all!
