OK, guys. This is my first attempt at a challenge, so please bear with me! Here goes: Love's Medley Seems these days Every song is inspiring; I wear a constant smile. This quiet night Belongs to reverie-- Only to those fantasies Of you and me, Alone on this cloud I've discovered. I see something deeper In your eyes; I could swear I recognized some emotion In your voice. There’s something in your eyes That has captured my heart. You are beautiful; No lack of inspiration Can change that. Believe me, Love, You are the unparalleled find In their search for perfection. I know I have other things I should be tending to, But I'm a sucker For romance. For when the muse Seems to be Nowhere in sight, I am proven wrong The moment I lay eyes On your beautiful face. Though the storm clouds Bring in those overused expressions, Everyday brings me A new meaning, Because, when you looked at me With those beautiful, soul-searching eyes, My heart melted away With just a glance. I won't go, I won't sleep, I can't breathe until you're resting here with me... |
