In Kethry's time at college, she won the coolness crown
For her ability to comeback whenever she's put down
She listens to their story and comes back with words so kind
But a newer meaning these added words will find

For instance, when she went out with a man named Carey
When he said, "you know I'm trying" she replied… "Yes very"
When she was told her mind was sick she didn't turn her head
Instead she simply muttered, "It's not sick it's only dead"

This went on for all the year, the conversation trend
Everyone waited close to hear, if her come-back would defend
And when she missed the parties, the next day all would tell
About conversations in her absence, so she could make things well

Once when in her absence she was called 'mud' by a clown,
He joyfully informed her, she looked him up and down
Her response was the one, which took the coolness crown
She said  "well it WAS dirt, so it's been watered down."

If this is true
I've been you
it's not what
it's meant to be
I like it more
when you sing
happily...

Keth I remember what this is like...someday, maybe you won't have to go through these moments...

Hugs,

ethome, thanks for the cute. Can you see my ear to ear grin

Sunshine, for you no comeback, just poetry and happy singing.

Marsha, I could have been the comeback kid except that I was a growned up.

Sir Sven if you had been around I would have needed no defence. Thanks for the lady title, I'm very restrained you know,(usually by people in white coats)

Deer I'd always come back for you, although you are so far ahead of me in style and class you may have to come back for me.

pepper, I'm sometimes so way beyond cool I'm icy.

be well
Kethry

Sudhir, as always you lift my heart with song.

Nan,
does poetry instead of blood run in your veins? I think we may be related too.

rosepetals25,
Glad I could make you smile.

Be well
Kethry
