"The Miracle of a Friend" In a world that is ever changing The cycle of life continues...never to end It's comforting to know there are miracles Like that of a special friend In a universe that is cold and cruel Days that seem to pass one into another It's nice to know there is someone there To lend an ear or a shoulder In a place where fortune and looks Mean more than spirit and heart It's a blessing to know there are people Who will stay...never to depart The miracle of a friend There is nothing else to compare Simple words of love and tenderness Showing that you care The nights are getting darker sooner And the cold of winter is starting to set in I am so glad I have met you My miracle of a friend [This message has been edited by Aimster (edited 11-12-2000).] |
