You really should read Annies' Wish before this

Hi God its Annie
How are You up there?
I have a favor to ask You
If You have a moment to spare.
I know mommy's there
Up in heaven with You
Can You tell her about us
How we're starting brand new?
See daddy has found
A new mommy for me
I still love my old one God
She is special to me.
I know daddly still loves her
Theres nights he still cries
But more often now
There's joy in his eyes.
She loves us both
And God I like her too
And I really believe
She's an angel from You
God could You tell my mommy
That I love her so
And I'll never forget her
I just wanted her to know
This Christmas Eve is special
Because God You see
Tonight he's gonna ask her
To marry him and me
And God I know
We will be truly blessed
If You could just get her
To please say yes
So God this is Annie
Its time for me to go
Tell my mommy I love her
And I miss her so
Merry Christmas to You God
And all Your angels too
Merry Christmas from Annie
And God?...Thank You.

Paula, this is beautiful, totally wonderful. I really and truly love this one. I did read Annie Wish, which I loved too, and now this one is absolutely fabulous. You write so beautifully Paula you really do.
Take care

Paula~
So simplistically beautiful - the prayers of a child.
Thank you for sharing this delight.

Wonderful set of poems showing the hell a child would go thru losing a parent thru death or divorce and then the appreciation she shows when blessings come her way and life now seems worth living again...sometimes a very hard thing for a child to let go and accept a new parent...James

Crying buckets, here. This is the perfect complement to Annie's Wish. Fabulous writing, Paula!
