Listening to every heart

The Hallmark man visited my backyard

he brought his little bag of tricks
in the night, he began to flick
from his little bag of treat
a landscape such as would be neat
to see upon a Christmas card,
to see what he did in my backyard…

early early this morning riser,
little sleep doesn't leave me wiser
but see the dreamscape set before
the Hallmark man came at four
and set before me such a scene
yes, it was thus a vision's dream…

Fall's colored leaves covered earth's floor
and crystalline sprinkles covered them more
with little light, the sparkling was set
before my eyes, this beauty met
and all I could think as I opened the door
was that "the Hallmark man came the night before…"

I have to depend on Hallmark to remind me what snow looks like. Thank you for letting me look into your backyard.

Karilea~
This beauty deserves to be featured on
a card of it's own.

Lovely - just lovely.

Yes, I believe God designs most of his winter scenes after Hallmark cards, and they are truly beautiful, aren't they?
I loved this poem from your creative mind

Marsha, accolades is such a unique word...it cannot mean anything else...

inot2B...you're welcome in my backyard any time!...

Marge, I want your links to all the cute graphics you find!...thank you...

Rainydays...thank you!...

WOW...hey, you spawn cool ideas yourself...I'm just trying to keep up!...

Peppermint, thank you!...

So are you, Mr. Yeats...

Elizabeth, you've pleased me in your own unique way...and I will probably never have enough "thank yous" to go around, but I will try...

'Deer, wonderful words...I will treasure them...and I would gift you ALL of my thoughts...for sometimes they ARE a little wierd...

Kethry...rainbows from Sunshine, too!...

Brian, I always love it when you visit...thank you!

Agreeing with all of the previous replies. And let me add, the title was so perfect and creative. I am trying to go to bed here, and that title just said "READ ME FIRST", so I did.
Loved it.
