           Within there is a demon
            it's hiding deep inside
            it holds onto your spirit
           it messes with your mind.

           It feeds upon your fears
and tries to break your will
         keeping your thoughts racing
not allowing your mind to be still.

There is no rhyme or reason
as to why it stays hiding there
        consuming all of your thoughts
each day turned into a nightmare.

          It slowly invades your soul
and it makes you want to shout
it's that little voice inside your head
it's that demon that we call doubt.

On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free.

to exorcise this demon,
just believe in yourself. . .
that you can do it
and your life will be your wealth. . .

wonderful. . .

I know all about this demon. All my life it has been with me. You have described it perfectly. Hopefully before my days are over I will have conquered it.
