Poetic Infusion
~*Marge Tindal*~

I've been hit by an epidemic of poetic infusion
Call the doctor - start the transfusion

One liter of sonnet that softly drips
One meter of rhyme to fall from my lips
A sip of Villanelle verse to revive
Why, you might even keep this poet alive

No more am I under any false illusion
Please tend me quick with poetic infusion

Administer one shot of soft serenade song
while I am still able to sing loudly along
One dose of a ballad, thrown in for good measure
and do not forget a Paradelle treasure

Think me not a mere allusion
infused with poetic confusion

There are those who would agree
there is no cure for a romantic like me
Do not lament if I fall into free-verse
for I fear there is no cure for this curse

Chart the rise in my delusion
grandest in poetic inclusion

If these poetic thoughts continue to swell
Lock me within a padded cell
Give me the cure or bury me quick
for I've never been so well - at being so sick

Summon the surgeons to confer in conclusion
I am one classic case of poetic infusion

Forgive me for hanging on to notion
that poets are filled with tremendous devotion
Until you find a better solution
just stock me up with poetic profusion

Keep passing round what you're serving; you're inspiring more of what you're deserving!!!  This is just great!!!

Marge this is so much fun, and I am laughing loudly at this. They say laughter is the best medicine, and this is the best of the lot.
Love this one Marge I really do.
Take care

Marge,
This malady you're suffering from
must follow but one rule of thumb
between fore-finger that's opposed
just grasp the pen , you're one of those
who holds the cure within her grasp
to make us laugh until we gasp
for air , and then wait patiently
for what comes next , most pensively.
Doc
P.S. In case you couldn't tell , I thought this was fantastic !

Shoot!  Now I've got to check with my HMO and PPO to see if I am covered when I check into THIS hospital for that much-needed transfusion of infusion of poetry and prose...

HELP, where's that darn CALL button!!!

Now, Doc - if I read you right, all I have to do is
