I've Waited For So Long

I wandered in the black darkness seeking some comfort
The doors leading to loves eternal living hope, it's light
The entrance to this paradise of love I desperately sought
This truth burning with the power of everlasting delight
The realisation that I could have a dream love I fought
Thinking that I wasn't worthy I denied,rejected loves sight

Love discovered my hiding place, revealed herself to me
She threw open the musty windows of my aching heart
Blew through my soul with the wind of true loves purity
Taking away all the past and gifting me with a new start
Opening my eyes to what I'd refused to consider or see
That my true love was here in you and we shouldn't part

Love woke me from my past showing me beauty so true
Revealing the passion that I have kept hidden for so long
Bathing my spirit in trust, breathing the words I love you
Banishing my fear that I will once again lose loves song
Caressing my soul with your warmth, your light, with you
I know that it's your kiss, your love, I've waited for so long

Circe, thank you love, it's weird you know I never know what type of poem will come out. I'm sitting there (at work, waiting for the next manic hour to start) and then I look down and read what has appeared on my note pad. Anyway I'm really pleased you like it.
Take care

Just amazing how a new love can just jump start your whole life but isn't that what it's all about...finding love and trust to cultivte into a spiritual relationship that endures...one that you can place your roots into and call home... all this insecurity hanging around is not good for the future of love...responsibilities still have to be taken care of and hey! why not do it with someone you love.......MPV?

Ethome, that's it exactly, finding the one whom you can trust in, and work to make a relationship. Thank you it's always a pleasure to see your name, and you know I appreciate it.

Amy, love you are so sweet, I thank you so much, you know I really do. The only thing is I don't feel as I should accept praise for something that didn't require any effort. It's obviously a failing of mine, one of millions my sisters, love them, would tell you. But I will accept that you enjoy this.
Take care
