Divulging inner secrets that will captivate the mind through corridors whose egress common words will help you find sophisticated science of the softly spoken phrase now breeds a new alliance that will last through-out your days All that you wish to be expressed shall come to those who seek command of words in written form displayed in lines as sleek as plumage of exotic birds arrested in mid-flight to perch upon the barren page and fill it with their light The phoenix risen from the ash again the skies to soar Pteropaedes and Apterix and other birds of yore here dwell beside descendants fully epochs down the line no longer just mere remnants of a long forgotten time With very little guidance once again their wings unfold as penned in words of vibrance a new life is born of old |

Wow!!! I loved this! (Of course, you do know that the 3rd line is straight from the Southern Belle's Book of Proper Behavior? *G*) |

gotta admit it...saw the title, and came in looking for a "cheap shot"--no way, m'friend...totally eloquent, and to "suthern"--HOW DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS? "sophisticated science of the softly spoken phrase..." I forget much, but I am not likely to forget that. Thanks. |

suthern, I plead ignorance , if such is the case , I most humbly beg forgiveness of the author , and will now go stand in the corner . (back from the corner) serenity, That little rascal really put up a fuss when I tried to write this using his beak ! But rest assured no actual birds were harmed in this writing . Thank you both . You filled your poem with beautiful birds and it's far from flighty. The 14 syl count per line hasn't escaped me either. Very, very nice writing, Dr. Moose. ...chanson~ Music, tonal clear & pure, Caresses the harshest of curves. -Song of Gesture |

WOW! Doc Moose... if the bird is the word than the Moose has all his feathers, because your quill just don't quit. Most Excellent! I bow to you and yours. |

Drew , my friend , I am truly disconcerted that I may have ruffled a few as of late .My apologies to all , but the drum-beat I hear may be that of the partridge at dusk . Doc |
