Warm Hawaiian Rain

Once I was lonely.
Once I was blue.
I knew something was missing in my life
and apparently it was you.
The first night I met you
I knew I could never forget you.
I have now found the missing ingredient
for happiness it seems.
You are a manifestation of the beauty
I have been pursuing in my dreams.

We share magical moments
among palm trees and tropical flowers
as your lovely lips beckon me
to kiss away some tender hours.
Enjoying the way each new day
has become illuminated so warm and bright
lighting up your radiant beauty
so precious in my sight.

I look at you, think about you,
and want you more each passing day
already it has become a mission impossible
for me to look away.
I yearn for you to touch me
for I feel your touch can heal my pain
in much the same way the lovely tropical plants
yearn for the sun and desire
the warm Hawaiian rain.

James, it is so nice to log on in the morning and see one of your poems pop up. You have a flair about your style and words that shout romance in the softest of voices. Excellent write my friend and the topic is great as usual
