There was a time, When I was loved As I loved. There was a time, When two hearts Were one. That was a time, When I believed In myself. The love we once shared, Was sentenced To death; From the first time We touched, To the last time We kissed. There was a time When I was loved As I loved. 11-17-1998 |

This poet, my best friend, does not have access to the internet; however, I told her of this wonderful community and she asked me to submit three of her poems, this one and two others, which I have along with this same message. I have set up an e-mail account for her, which I will check daily, incase there is anything you wish to communicate directly to her. I will print out all replies and e-mails then deliver them to her.< !signature--> Love is the law, love under will. [This message has been edited by jlocke (edited 09-25-2000).] |

It is so very hard to see a love disappear but in holding on to the SWEET memories instead of the bitter ones at least allows some peace. |

April this is very sweet. Welcome to passions by proxy. Hope to see more of your work. Be well Kethry "It is the image in the mind that links us to lost treasures; but it is the loss that shapes the image, gathers the flowers weaves the garland."- |
