My delicate treasure,
Within my arms I shall wrap you,
Bury you within my heart,
Forever safe.
I am cannot fight the will
to gaze with my longing eyes,
Back into yours of green and brown flecks,
forever lost, forever found. .
I find my hands gently caressing ivory skin,
Smooth as finest porcelain,
Cast with angels in mind.
My fingers will be lost within the tangle,
Of hair of silken weave,
Upon which I will set a crown of baby’s breath,
Of sweet flowery perfume.
And butterflies will dance about you,
Robins of blue and red will sing for you,
The sun will illuminate your beauty,
Flowers will reach out to you,
And as boughs of graceful trees bend in curtsy
I will stand back in wonder,
And sigh.

Tossing words like wishful coins into the deep well of an open heart. R. fox

You say it so well!

That line about butterflies...yup...precisely...

This is how the wind shifts:
Like a human, heavy and heavy,
Who does not care.
