Crushed Dreams Her dreams have been crushed she sits wallowing in her "blue" her dreams were just dreams~ never meant to come true. Her dreams for a life time so simple and grande were only mere thoughts that should have been banned. Now within herself she does confide these dreams aren't real not again, she sighed. She prays for the morning the coming of "new" and prays not to dream~ they'll just be crushed too. On the wings of words our spirits fly, and our souls are free. |

Gentle Spirit, In one of his songs, Garth Brooks says "I thank God for unanswered prayers". Some things aren't meant to be, for our own sakes. Never be afraid to dream, it takes us places we may never go. By the way I liked this poem, the sadness touched me. Dream on, Dee I wish you every happiness and pray you'll always have the best of the good things in life. a brand |

Oh, this is so sad. A friend and I have been trying to encourage eachother lately, with the little statement, "keep the dream alive" abbreviated to KTDA. Its been harder to find it, much less keep it alive these days. But I believe there will be another to follow, you will find a new and better dream. But I know it hurts. Take care. Sandra |

beautifully sad. Look within the heart of a poet, and you will see a reflection of their soul. |
