Sometimes in my dreams you touch my face and it awakens me. I lie there wishing I could keep your finger prints forever. I hear you calling me and I think I can touch you... I can't. you know I never could. Can you love me, will you... Do you love me, Did you... You knew me for a moment, I'll know you forever. I looked fate in the face once... he had your eyes. closing eyes closing arms around me and from me... closing doors, and you were gone. I could write forever for something I'll never have. One month, to one year, to nine years, too late. Always goodbye but never farewell. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." |

Wow thanks everyone for the replies, I appreciate it. I'm touched that you guys like it so much. It wasn't too long ago....but I was born nine years too late. Seems so unfair, you know?
