Listening to every heart

For Him

She came to him, there, and entered deep his soul
and felt now he, awash, as if upon a craggy shoal
she swept words to his heart, as if they had been tethered
there, forever, shall she be, until the end of never

she breathed breath into his heart, where she lightly stroked
a chord, a spell, a place not met, but where he stoked
the flame of her in his voice, and again then in his rhyme
to promise between the two of them, yes, there’ll be the time

where they shall meet and gaze and whisper, a kiss upon her ear
and he shall know just how to sweep her up in midnight’s clear
and lay her upon the rose-strewn bed, a bower made for her
and she shall shower him anew, he has never been so sure.

She came to him, there, and entered deep his soul
She breathed breath into his heart, where she lightly stroked
And they shall meet and gaze and whisper, a kiss upon her ear
And she will hold his heart so soft, and whisper to him, “dear”.

Karilea (aka Erin Brocavich)

Mmmmm - this is so loving - so warm - so heartfelt - Exactly as I imagine truly great love shared to be.

Karilea - It's great seeing you write in this style.  I love the promise of love that you plant here so well.  This is quite lovely, as are you.

Well now this in definitely one heck of a romantic piece.  I have read this at least 4 times and I am sure I will read it again.  I must say that you have penned quite the essence of hopeless romantics in the heart.  I am in awe at it's beauty and YES please do write like this again.  I like this side of you.

Serenity, sometimes, all poems should be whispered...

because that is when the heart hears...

Kari, I still think this is one of your best, although it's hard to pick, an excellant, from a stunning. This is so totally beautiful, I really think that this is my favourite. (well that is at this moment)
Take care

I am astounded that I missed this one! Karilea, this is incredible romantic writing filled with love, longing and promise. If anyone could breathe breath into a man's heart, I'm sure you could...and, yes, there is always a right time for true love. This is beautiful...

If you whisper, I will listen....

Our song is the voice of desire, that haunts our dreams,
A throe of the heart,
Whose pining visions dim, forbidden hopes profound,
No dying cadence, nor long sigh can sound,
For all our art.

well now, since MY CHECK,  for comments, didn't come in this week, I'm just gonna say something simple, like I loved it, it was wonderful, and yes, write some more like it...and when my check comes in, I'll change all this and say something NICE.
