I had a friend I had a friend I thought I knew And we were soul mates not by name It seems that certain things in life Attracted both of us the same The greatest mysteries of life Displayed in nature’s perfect way The splendor of poetic phrase Creative thoughts that others say Aesthetic notions of the mind Romantic fantasy and lore And then one day she told me things That I had never known before Sometimes you think you know someone You didn’t really know at all And when you learn about their life You see things that you never saw I had a friend I knew before But now I like her that much more Elizabeth Santos |

Elizabeth - how stunning it is to think that you know a friend, and then find out that perhaps one didn't really know them that well. But how close friends become, when the deepest thoughts are shared. Bill |

Great work Elizabeth...there are some times we think we know someone, and then we find we don't...but after getting to know them more we like them that much more. So true! Elizabeth You cling to your ways and leave mine to me. Suum cuique. ~Elizabeth |

Elizabeth S....... What a wonderful tribute to true friendship this is! Sometimes it's hard to tell if your friends will stick by you if you reveal your secrets. But true friends always do. Enjoyed very much!! Follow your dream! |

Elizabeth, A wonderful tribute to a friend you thought you really knew. Sometimes, friendship is not just about sharing good times, it is also about letting go of troubled times to those you really trust. Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love (Daniel J D) |

This is wonderful, to have such a friend is a rare treasure. It makes each new day a joy to behold. "The heart and soul have no illusion of boundries when friendship is the quest" ~ My Angel. |
