Best Friends

I almost lost
my best friend tonight
because of something I did
we got in a fight

We managed to talk
and work things out
if I would've lost him
I'd be mad as hell and pout

I feel really bad
for what I have done
and made him a promise
it won't happen again

I don't feel we're as close
as we used to be
but as long as we talk
that will be fine with me

Maybe in time,we'll be close
like we used to be
he holds a piece of my heart
and very very special to me
