As the world falls down I saw you sit and cry. The sound of tears can be so lonely... I want to place you inside the empty space of my heart. Step away from the edge I will hold you to me and never let you know. My arms ache with needing to touch you every night and early morning. Memories make dust... blanketing you until... no one can seem to... find what you’ve... lost... On your hands and knees you crawl while I am suspended above by my fears. I feel your fear too... it draws you to the ground. You do not see me You never will until I let go or just give up for awhile... I find my voice has left me or perhaps I never had one to begin with. I saw you sit and cry the sound of tears can be so lonely... As the world falls down. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." |
