I request early release, deserving of parole. Not happy in this prison, I have a future goal. Someone bring a file to me to saw through pain of steel, a shovel to go under, come one, lets make a deal. Let me out of vacant dreams and lonely, aching nights. Freedom's a necessity, to pass from dark to light. I don't belong here, really, I'm not a criminal. I loved a bit unwisely, I think I've paid the bill. Hurry up, the jailer comes to force me in my cell. Surely someone cares enough to free me from this hell. [This message has been edited by catalinamoon (edited 11-02-2000).] |

catalinamoon - sadness I see, pain I feel. You have described both in your writing, perhaps more. I wish for you to smile, and to have all the sorrow that you may feel disappear. Bill |

Sometimes we are our own jailer. Open up the door and walk out into the light. You have to be the one to take the first step. |

psssst...this way Sandra...come out in the sun and dance!!! You've opened many doors with your poetry as of late and it's going to be the key that you need...I can feel it in your writing. Great work~ |

How much pain will you suffer before you open your eyes and see Nobody else can help you escape, you alone hold the key Reach into your aching heart find your light within share your gift with the world leave behind your prison Take me as I am or watch me as I go |

Sandra, you have to be the one that opens that door. . . and that can be the hardest thing to do. . . Well written my friend. . . --------------------------------------------------------- That which gives light must endure burning --Victor Frankl |

Thanks for all the hand holding and advice, I know it is my jail, and I can break out myself, but Damn, it would be ever so much better with a wonderful man to walk with me, away from that prison, to make it seem worth the trouble.. No worries, I will be back to writing delirious love poems sometine soon, Love to all of you, Sandra |

We all hold the keys ourselves to free us from such prisons - we only need look deep enough inside ourselves to find them. Great poem in any event - very well constructed - Hope you find those keys ~S~ |

You've written this so well; surely it has helped you find the key!! Pepper "I honor the place in you, that when you are in that place, and I am in that place in me, we are in the same place" Ram Dass |
