Why Question Me, You Know The Answer!

You ask me if I love you
I tell you the answer's yes

                 But why me you ask
                 I'll answer as I can

Why do I love you
You speak to my soul

When I lay alone I hear you
Calling me back to your arms

Being held by you
I shake with need

                 When I kiss your lips
                 Stars shoot across heaven

You touch my heart
With tender words

                 When I breathe a sigh
                 You lift my spirit

Nothing can harm me
When wrapped in your care

                 No dark shadows
                 Will menace my night

You give me hope
You bring me peace

All I am, and ever will be
                 Is because I am loved

Because I am Loved by you
Why would I not love you?

So ask him if he loves you too and let him reply to you as fully as you did to him.  This was wonderful through and through and I just love the way your works shine but I must admit that this particular one may just be my favorite so far of yours.

Kit, thank you, your work is always beautiful. So I thank you for spreading your spirit around.

Mark, do I dare ask, I will, and if he does then I'll glow. If he doesn't then c'est la vie, and I shall be richer for just knowing him! I thank you for your words which always are amazingly beautiful.
So you think this is the best, why thank you kind sir. I think it's being in the company of masters that does it. Oh and love of course.

Aimster, I thank you for your far to kind words, thank you for reading, I appreciate it and cherish each reply.

Waverly917 I thank you for you reading this little poem of mine, and thank you for your praise.

Of course if you write like this he must already know ... it would be written in your eyes and in your smile

Mark thank you for coming back, and as soon as I ask him, Passions will be the first to know. I get such a boost from just being here, and especially from your work. I know I tell you so but you might just think I'm being nice. I'm not it's the best, truly.
Thanks again Mark

  Marsha...
          Ah....you have done it again!!!
How I love to read the thoughts in your heart!  The only answer I can ever think of to the question, "Why me?", is "Because..."!
     Great writing here, my friend!!

Sunny thank you from the bottom of my heart, such kind praise from you. I know I don't deserve to have so many friends who read my work. Still I thank you each and everyone of you. Sunny you in particular have always inspired me, your work is as unique as your soul. Which has obviously been kissed by an angel.
Oh and thank you for the cupid, although I don't think I'll have to bother him at the moment.
         Take care
